Four formats are supported: plain numbers (1, 2, 3), Page X (Page 1, Page 2), Page X of Y (Page 1 of 10), and Roman numerals (i, ii, iii).

Yes — five positions are available: bottom center (default), bottom left, bottom right, top center, and top right. The numbers are placed in the margin area to avoid overlapping content.

Page numbers are placed in the margin area near the edge of the page and should not overlap existing content on standard-format documents with adequate margins.
